We’re introducing a new participant authentication system that replaces OTP codes, making event access faster, and smoother for both hosts and attendees.

Here’s what’s new 👇

New Participant Authentication
3 simple ways to check in attendees for in-person events

1️⃣ Manual Check-In

When you manually check in a participant, they immediately receive an email with a unique, single-use link.

The link is valid for 10 minutes. Once clicked within that time, the participant is automatically logged into the event and will remain connected, no password or authentication code required.

If the link expires, the participant will be notified and can quickly request a new one.

 
2️⃣ Send a Join Link

For a faster check-in experience, you can send a participant their personal access link directly.

Open your event, then next to each participant’s name, click the ellipsis (…) → Send join link. They’ll receive a secure email link that allows them to:

Be automatically checked in as soon as they click the link
Access the event instantly without login or code
Important: The participant must click the join link before the event ends, otherwise they won't be checked in.

 
3️⃣ Check-In with QR Code

As a host, simply open your event and click “Check-in QR”, then print it or display it full-screen at the entrance so attendees can scan it when they arrive.

Participant experience:

Scan the QR code
Enter their email address
Receive an authentication email
Click Join event
They’ll then be automatically checked in and logged in — no password or authentication code needed.

 
For Online Events
The experience is now even simpler. Just send the event link to your participants. When they open it from their email, they’ll be automatically authenticated, checked in, and taken directly to the event — no access code required.
