We’re excited to share a major update to Deal Breakers - going live on Tuesday, August 26th!

๐Ÿ”น What’s changing?

Until now, deal breakers were set globally and applied to all your events. With this update, you’ll now be able to adjust deal breakers for each individual event!

Standard, Pro & Business Plans: Choose 1 deal breaker per event
Enterprise Plan: Choose multiple deal breakers per event to suit complex matching needs.

๐Ÿ”น How it works in practice:

๐Ÿ“Œ Step 1: Enable your preset deal breaker
Go to Settings → Match Fields and select the deal breaker you’d like as your default. This preset will automatically apply when you create a new event.

๐Ÿ“Œ Step 2: Adjust per event when creating
When you create a new event (click +In-person or +Video Event from your dashboard), you’ll see a Deal Breaker section. Here you can confirm or change the deal breaker for that specific event.

๐Ÿ“Œ Step 3: Edit anytime before check-in
You can always change the deal breaker later. Simply open your event, go to its Settings → Deal Breaker, and update it. Changes can be made anytime until participant check-in begins.

 

This update lets you run different types of events at the same time, each with its own deal breaker.
